By the Chairman Duncan Cameron

My background is 40 plus years in the broadcast industry, radio, television, cable and mobile phones, sales and administration, and a little dabble in on air broadcasting, retired as VP of Moffat Communications.

Moffat Communications encouraged participation in the community and allowed me to volunteer and join Chamber of Commerce, United Way, Rotary International, Kinsmen, Shrine, Freemasonry, Elder of my CHURCH, Mental Health, Cancer Society, Kinsmen International Band Festival, Women in Need, these are groups I chaired over the years. THE ROTARY 4 WAY TEST, are values I grew up with, values CAMERON GROUP INTERNATIONAL, hold dearly too!

For the past 20 odd years I have had a long association with Africa, through Rotary International in its quest to eradicate polio. It is sad to hear that there have been a number of cases announced this past week in Nigeria, due to a group in northern Nigeria who will not allow access to vaccinate.

The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideals of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
FIRST: The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
SECOND: High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian’s occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
THIRD: The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian’s personal, business, and community life;
FOURTH: The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.

I am blessed to have people working with me that also have those same values, I know that is why we will succeed in the daunting task to be part of ending poverty.

Most of the 40 companies Cameron Group International does business with or for, GIVE BACK 15% TO AS HIGH AS 90% OF THEIR NET PROFITS TO THE COMMUNITIES WE DO BUSINESS WITH. CGI HIRES A MINIMUM OF 80% FROM THE COUNTRY WE DO BUSINESS IN. CLICK ON WORKING WITH PAGE  and see the list of companies we work with.

Officially CGI (Africa) LLC, was registered in Accra, Ghana on May 26th 2016. In keeping with our mandate CGI (Africa) is held by Africans, and like all new kids on the block, we have had growing pains, adjusting to the CGI values and earning the right to do business in Africa.

I spent the month of April in Africa, meeting with Chiefs, Government Officials, Potential JV Partners, looking for CGI (Africa) to source funding for their projects and discussing partnering with local groups.

We identified many billions of USD in infrastructure projects from railways, mines, oil refineries, airports, public wash rooms, hospitals and smart cities, premium housing projects. In the month of August 2016, CGI (Africa) signed a 1.5 billion USD JV project to build 9,000 homes, with another project for 31,000 social housing, which our lawyers and bankers are finishing the details to start the project in September 2016.

Cameron Group International is a group of dedicated professionals from all over the world. We are a hands-on, profit-oriented management firm with a proven record of professionalism and success in fast track, competitive environments. Our team can facilitate the forming of strategic partnerships between companies and entrepreneurs creating long-term success for both.

Sincerely: Duncan Cameron | Chairman

How to See Through These 3 Hardball Negotiation Tactics

Harvard Business Review-7 hours ago by Deepak Malhotra
In my new book Negotiating the Impossible, I offer numerous principles and tactics for negotiating effectively when things get ugly — especially when you don’t have sufficient “money or muscle” to use as leverage. This could be a deadlocked deal, an escalating conflict, or any situation where there is mistrust, antagonism, or a seeming unwillingness to engage in good faith.

Many of the lessons are just as useful for knocking down the more common barriers people face in negotiation.  Here are three common “hardball” tactics that the other side might use — and some advice on how to respond.

Welcome to revolutionary energy.

Website: German Sustainables

German Sustainables provides a revolutionary and future oriented source of energy. The GF 1000 vertical Axis wind turbine (VAWT)can be installed globally because of its simple construction and ease of transport. It can be set up in areas with difficult geological conditions, as well as strong and variable winds. For the first time a technically suitable wind turbine, which will achieve a reasonably quick return of investment, is available for areas which are otherwise off-bounds for conventional turbines.

Developed by means of German engineering, aerospace technology and the requirement for simplicity. Benefit from the distinctive advantages of the GF 1000 in your wind farm and say good bye to the ever increasing cost of maintenance and repairs of conventional wind turbines. Simple and rugged in construction, the GF 1000 provides globally a lucrative energy harvest, while having a positive lasting effect on the environment.

Get to grips with a new kind of wind energy retrieval, which will have an impact on the book of wind energy in the 21st century. Introducing the GF 1000.

Reason to establish the company was the urge to promote the new technology, which had been researched and designed over the past eleven years by Claus Colling (retired Flight Captain) and Dr. Ing. Kassera and successfully introduce it to the market. Since 2010 the efforts have been supported by means of investments though Mr. Johann Bachner, entrepreneur and CEO of Bachner Elektro Gmbh & Co KG, located in Mainburg/ Upper Bavaria. Together we would like to contribute in overcoming energy-related problems, without any undue burden for nature and mankind at fair pricing for all global regions, even where energy production was hitherto expensive or simply uneconomical. Imagine, if energy-resources where available without limitation, economical to use – independent from climatic- and /or geological conditions.

German Sustainables is positioning itself with complementary solutions alongside of the established conventional technology. We can fill the technological voids, which cannot be taken care of by the current wind turbine designs.
